- Wash and soak chana dal with water and turmeric powder. cook it until dal done and soft.
- Wash and clean cauliflower florets. Dip cauliflower florets in 2 cups hot water, for 5 minutes. Drain out water.In a pan, heat oil. Deep fry cauliflower till became brown.
- In this pan add oil. Add chopped onion and fry till crisp and golden colour on a medium heat. Add Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder. stir well on a low heat.
- Now add chopped tomato, cook it. until the tomato become soft.Add water.
- Add cauliflower florets and saute well.Add boiled chana dal and salt to taste. Cover with a tight lid and cook on a low heat, for 10 - 12 minutes.
- Finally add fresh coriander. serve Gobhi chana dal with rotis and rice.
