- Rinse chana dal thoroughly with water and soak chana dal. overnight in enough water. Afterwards rinse off again and drain excess water. Grind it to smooth paste without adding water.
- Add the ingredients except for oil. Beat the mixture as much as you can. This will make the phulori fluffy.
- Heat oil in a wok and when oil is sufficiently heated drop a small portion of mixture rolling through your fingers making a ball shape. Put the flame to low. Remain undisturbed for 2-3 minutes. Afterward gently flip the sides and stir continuously until golden brown. Remove on kitchen towel.
- Serve immediately with green/imli chutney.
