The ingredients needed to make Chana Chaat Chatpati:
- Make ready 2 cups Boiled Black Chikpea
- Take 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Prepare 1 tsp coriander powder
- Prepare 1 tsp cumin powder
- Take 1 tsp garam masala
- Prepare 1/2 tsp black salt
- Get 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- Get 3 cups Water
- Make ready 1 tbsp oil
- Take 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- Prepare Pinch asafoetida
- Prepare 1/2 tsp ginger
- Take 1 Finely chopped tomato
- Take 2-3 Finely chopped green chillies
- Prepare Handful finely chopped coriander leaves
- Get 1/2 tsp Lime juice
- Make ready to taste Salt
Drain excess water and transfer it to a mixing bowl. Add rest of the spices into it and mix well. Mix lemon juice and toss again. Garnish with chopped coriander before serving.
Instructions to make Chana Chaat Chatpati:
- Take 2 cups chikpea, soak over night.
- Drain off excess water, add soaked chanainto cooker, add 1.5 glass water, add salt and pressure cook until 3 whistles. - Let it cool completely and drain excess water in chickpea.
- Take a small bowl. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, black salt, chaat masala and mix well. Add water and prepare paste.
- Take a pan add oil and heat it on medium flame. - Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, grated ginger and Saute well on medium flame.
- Add prepared spice mix and fry until oil releases. - After oil releases, add boiled chickpeas and mix well.
- Add salt/masala if required.
- Turn off flame and let it cool completely. - After it's cooled completely. - Transfer into a bowl. - Add finely chopped tomato, finely chopped green chillies, finely chopped coriander, lemon juice and mix well. - Chatpate Chana Chaat Is ready to serve, Enjoy!!
