- Parboil the rice, wash and allow the water to sieve.
- Add water to the pot, wash the smoked fish and debone it.
- Cut the fresh tomatoes and onions.
- Add the smoked fish, bone marrow,tomatoes and the onions to the pot of boiling water.
- Add Maggi, salt to taste. Then add the rice to the pot and cover to cook.
- As the water is drying up…add the crayfish…add little water again to cook properly.
- Your delicious concoction rice is ready.
Always ended up with sweet concoction rice. It took me sometime to figure out the process and there has been no going back. To get this, you have to be thorough and generous with ingredients. Lol you don't need all that. I make Nigerian party jollof rice in my own kitchen all the time with only basic ingredients.
