This warm mashed potato is then immediately stuffed with cooked ground beef. Mix the mashed potatoes with the salt, chopped mint, pepper powder and flour. Form into oval shapes and flatten them with a knife. Heat oil in a flat pan.

Instructions to make Potato Chop:
  1. Take a besan in a bowl add all the ingredients and make a semi thick batter constancy.
  2. Heat a sufficient oil in a pan. Now deep each chop into the besan batter and chop them into the oil.
  3. Flip and fry until golden brown on crispy. Drain out in a absorbent paper.
  4. Serve hot.

Dip each potato chop in the beaten egg, roll in breadcrumbs then shallow fry on both sides till they turn brown. Drain and serve as a side dish. Chops are not spicy but if you like hot then add more of red chili powder. There are various kind of chops made in Goa. Some are vegetable chop, peas potato chop, mushroom chops and mince chop.
