This was a favorite of my children when they were growing up- I started out using a basic Swiss Steak recipe, but due to their tastes, it morphed into "Pizza Steak". - Knead the dough with your hands till everything is properly incorporated and no longer stuck on your hands.
- Take a clean bowl big enough to allow the dough to rise, rub the dough and bowl in olive (just a few drops not too much!) Put the dough in, cover it with plastic and a clothe and leave it to rise for an hour in a warm place or in a place with sunlight. This is how the dough will look after an hour of rising
- While the dough is rising season steak with Salt & pepper. Toss it into your frying pan add your sliced veggies, add in the spices, salt & pepper and let it saute for 3 minutes or so. Then add in the Lazenby sauce and BBQ sauce and remove it from the heat.
- Roll the pizza dough and poke the base with a fork, put the base sauce. Then Put it in a pizza pan or a flat oven tray which has been rubbed with olive oil. This is to avoid the dough from sticking or if you have parchment paper use that.
- Put the base in a preheated oven (180°C) for 5 minutes or once the base has slightly cooked, remove it, toss in your topping throw it back into the oven, once your crust starts looking golden sprinkle your grated cheese leave it for 30 seconds till the cheese melts in the oven once out Top with more cheese. 😍 SPRINKLE WITH Dry herbs and Enjoy😘
