- Cook moong dal for 1 whistles. Keep other ingredients ready.
- Heat oil add mustard seeds after it cracks add urad dal and cumin seeds.
- Next add green chillies, curry leaves and onion. Saute till golden brown and add the bottlegourd.
- Add salt and turmeric powder and sprinkle water. Cook with led for few minutes and add the cooked dal. Mix well.
- Finally add the coconut and mix.
Add Onion, Curry Leaves and Green Chili, saute til light golden brown colour. Add required Salt and mix well, then add Moong dal and cook for an minute. Finally add Coconut, stir well and ready to serve. Hara moong dal tadka or hari dal fry is the recipe that gave me confidence and declared me as a good cook. If I recall anything that I cooked first properly that is this hara (moong).
