- Fold and close with little water to help seal.
- Steam them 3 mins or till done make sure to check they are cooked
But my grandma insisted on using fresh shrimp. Not only does it add umami and depth of flavor, the texture of the dumplings will be perfect when you use fresh shrimp, producing some of the best. Boiled dumplings: Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the dumplings. Stir so they don't stick together. Set the dumpling on the prepared baking sheet and cover with a damp towel while you continue filling the rest.
