- Cook the packet rice as per instructions, and then tip onto a plate. Add the cooked chicken to one side. Pour the cooked mushrooms over the rice, to absorb any excess liquid, and mix slightly if wanted. Enjoy!!
Stir in the rice, peas, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Immediately reduce heat to medium-low, cover pot,. Cook mushrooms, garlic and green onion until mushrooms are cooked and liquid has evaporated. Stir in chicken broth and rice. Transfer mushrooms to a plate and keep covered.
