- Allow it to boil over strong heat for about 5 minutes and then turn down the heat leaving it to simmer until it sets. Stir often using a wooden spoon so that the jam doesnt' stick to the pot.
- It takes about 35-40 minutes of boiling. A little while before you remove it from heat, add the lemon juice.
- Store while hot in sterilized jars and turn them upside down until they cool.
