- Remove the pan from heat and mash the strawberries to desired consistency. Add red food colour (it is optioal).

- FOR MAKING DONUT : In a bowl, add warm water, sugar and yeast and mix well.
- To this add Egg, Milk, butter and salt and combine well.
- Add all purpose flour and mix well.
- Knead it to make smooth and soft dough.
- Rest it for 2 hours. (cover it with wet cloth).
- After 2 hours, roll the dough with enough thickness and cut the donut with two cookie cutter of different sizes.
- Rest it for 30 minutes (cover it with wet cloth).
- Heat oil in a pan at medium flame, drop the donuts in the oil and fry till golden brown turning the sides after 2 - 3 minutes.
- Place the fried donuts in a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
- Let it cool at room temperature for some time and then top it with Strawberry Sauce and chopped cashews.
