  1. Prepare 1 . Banana Flower - 1 cleaned and chopped finely
  2. Get 2 . Toor dal - 1/4 cup
  3. Get 3 . Ginger - 1 tsp chopped finely
  4. Make ready 4 . Mustard - 1 tsp
  5. Take 5 . Onion - 1 finely chopped
  6. Take 6 . Green chilli - finely chopped
  7. Get 7 . Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

  9. Get 9 . Buttermilk - 1/2 cu[
  10. Take 10 . Oil - 1 tbsp
Instructions to make Banana Flower Dal Fry:
    1. Clean banana flower and soak them in butter milk for 15 minutes and chop it finely as much as possible and keep aside.
  1. Now soak dal in warm water for 15 minutes and grind to crumble stage.

  2. Heat kadai in medium flame add a tsp of oil once hot add crumbled dal fry till it become crispy. Keep this aside.

    1. Heat another tsp of oil in same kadai add mustard, Chopped onion, green chilli and ginger. Saute nicely.
  3. Now add chopped banana flower, salt and turmeric powder. Cover and cook in medium flame.

  4. When done add roasted toor dal and saute couple of minutes.

    1. Very good side dish for rice and dal. I had this with plain rice with some gingelly oil and salt. Yummy
