The ingredients needed to make My Fish pie:
- Get 450 g mixed fish (Alaska Pollock,smoked Pollock,pink salmon mix)
- Take Enough mashed potato to cover the fish
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Sea salt
- Take 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- Prepare 1 pinch mixed herbs
- Take 1/2 cup frozen peas
- Get 1/2 Cup water and mix in fish stock cube
- Take 1/2 tsp cornflour mixed in a little cold water
Instructions to make My Fish pie:
- Add the fish to an oven dish add the salt,pepper,mixed herbs and peas. Then add salt and pepper. Then add a fish stock cube to 1/2 cup boiling water and mix then pour over the fish.
- Add a 1/2 tsp cornflour in a tiny drop cold water then add to the fish stock stir and pour over fish. Cover with foil and cook in the oven on medium 180C for 25 minutes. Then start cooking your potatoes for the mash
- When the fish is done take out and let it cool right down.it should be thicker enough to hold the mash on top. Add the mashed potatoes and drag along the mash with a fork so as the bits get crispy. Then add back to the oven for 20 minutes or until the mashed potato is browned and crisp.
