Spread the granola into an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. If you use salted peanut butter, you don't need to add salt to the granola recipe. If you use unsalted peanut butter, add a little salt to the recipe.
Instructions to make Peanut butter granola:
- Preheat your oven to 160C and get out a baking tray
- Chop your nuts and mix them with the oats in a large mixing bowl
- Measure out the peanut butter and mix with the syrup, salt, vanilla (if used) and cinnamon. Heat this mixture in the microwave for 20 seconds to help combine.
- Pour the peanut butter mixture into the oat and nut mix and stir through so everything is coated. If it looks too liquid, add some more oats.
- When everything is coated in the peanut mixture, transfer to the baking tray and spread evenly
- Bake in the oven for 10mins and then flip the mix so the bottom comes to the top
- Bake for another 10mins or until everything is browned (but not burnt!). Leave to cool.
- Once cooled, serve in a bowl with your choice of milk, fruits and seeds. Here I have sunflower seeds and dried cranberries.
