- Close the lid and let it be on medium-high heat for 3 minutes. If it whistles, that's completely alright. and even if it doesn't, it still works. Ensure, it doesn't exceed 1 whistle. Remove it from the heat, and allow the pressure to get released naturally (this takes about 7 minutes). And then open the lid. It's ready to be served!
