- Meanwhile, peel and chopp the apples before cooking them in the microwave for 1 and a half minutes
- Remove from the microwave and, using the back of a fork, break the apples down a little before mixing in a teaspoon of cinnamon.
- Once cooled, slice the cake horizontally and add the apple to the middle of the cake.
- Thicken double cream and spread on top of the apple.
